Yo Gabba Gabba Superhero backpack

I just won this awesome YGG back pack! I remember entering to win it, but I forgot all about doing so. I didn't get an email telling me I won, it just arrived. I probably deleted it, thinking
it was something else. Anyways, I'm gonna post pictures!

Piercing infants ears

I do not agree with piercing infants ears. You may as well pierce their eyebrows, lips and nose. It makes absolutely no sense to me, why mothers FEEL that they HAVE to do so. They treat it like its a vaccination. You can now make appointments with Pediatricians, to do this! What if that child grows up not wanting her ears pierced? They say to pierce their ears as an infant, so they will not remember, but guess what? They still feel the pain! I chose NOT to pierce my daughters ears, so that when they're ready, they can make that decision on their own! It shouldn't be forced! I want my kids to experience the ear piercing pain, so that they know, that life is not sugarcoated. I'll never understand why women do these things.

Holiday dinners are STUPID!

I love holiday's, don't get me wrong, I just don't like the dinners that go along with them. Like turkey dinners. It's pathetic! Everyone on both sides of the families, are all awkward. We will be starting our own traditions. I'd rather get our family all dressed up, and go to a fancy restaurant and to the movies, or maybe even go out of town... That's why I made it a point to book this years Disney trip DURING christmas. Sometimes, not being around family during the holidays, is a good thing. The stress about having people over, and if there is going to be enough food for everyone, and worrying if everyone is gonna get along, is ridiculous. Not even worth stressing. It's time to change it up a bit. I sure as hell don't want to cook at my house and dirty it up. I been looking at some activities and different things to do during holidays, so we can create memories and start our own traditions. I don't like carrying on other people's traditions. I'm planning next years christmas trip to The Great Wolf lodge. I can't wait! We will no longer go to Disney trips with family. We'll be going to Disney World, next year for halloween by ourselves. Anyways, that's it for now!

My Children's Future

After realizing where the world is headed, and how technology is going to take over, there will be absolutely no jobs available for our children when they become of age. I'll be damned if my kids go to college to waste their time and OUR money on a career that will be impossible to even achieve! Ive seen too many people go that route. I'd rather my kids sign their life to the government, serve our country, learn a trade, and get RESPECT than to sell their soul to the government for college just to be in DEBT, living off of mommy and daddy and amounting to nothing! My middle child said she wanted to be a mail lady, she's been saying it for a while now, I thought, damn! By the time my children grow up, postal service will be extinct just like the milkman. That's sad, because they're already going to take Saturdays away. There will be nothing for them! I really hope that my children learn from the little responsibilities we give them at home, but for them, they are big ones. Like cleaning their room, putting their dishes in the sink, scrubbing the toilet, and mopping the kitchen floor, setting up their lemonade stand during the summer to make their own money.. I make EVERYTHING a privilege for my kids. That's why their room is clean right now, going to church and having tamales for breakfast got their room spotless in 10 minutes! If you can't start with the simple rules in your household, then what makes you think they'll respect the rules in life just up ahead.

I will be putting my children in military school the second they hit the 9th grade. By the time they graduate military school, they will already have learned a trade, that will benefit them in their future. In order to get ANYWHERE in life, and be a slightly successful; you have to have a RICH FAMILY, be a politician, marry the rich, or own your own business, and even at that, you HAVE to have connections. I know MORE failures, than I do successful humans. I'm a realist, I don't live on a prayer, I live in REALITY!
Public schools are horrible! All about fashion and who has this, and who has that. The teachers aren't even allowed to teach with enthusiasm. They have to go by state curriculum, which only allows the children to learn so much. The state alters the curriculum each year, which lessens the ability for our children to learn greater things! Teachers fucking the students, hitting the students, and judging them! Right now, I'm very grateful that my kids are going to a school where the teachers are still going by their own teaching methods and have been a teacher for 25+ years. These new teachers don't know anything about teaching our children today. It is truly sad.

I have plans for my children, and I know that when they grow up, they'll be thanking me. I've been looked at sideways, like I'm a horrible mother when I mention military school.

My oldest kid came to me the other day and said that 8th graders came to her school and played their string instruments for them, she then said she wanted to play the violin and play in soccer. Ive signed her up for soccer 2 years ago, but it was unprofessional so I took her out. i found a better league. I'm happy that my kids are making decisions on what activities they truly want to do, and is not forced. My middle child just played her first season in T-ball and is begging to do summer ball. So guess what? I'm turning their wants into a privilege.

All I want is the best for these kids. And I know I'm a strict mother, which also gets confused for verbal and mental abuse, but those are coming from the parents that have kids with absolutely no discipline or respect! But that's how I get respect, by me disciplining my children! I refuse to let my kids run all over me! I am not claiming to be mother of the year, but I see the difference from my kids, and other kids.

Nike Fuel Band

Okay, so I've had the fuel band for a little over a week now, and I wanted to do a quick review on how it is so far.
All I have to say, is nothing but good things about it! You put how much fuel you want to earn, and and you have to reach your goal. All I know, is that it has me out there striving to reach my goal! I love it! It's the best motivational thing I have!! Well worth the price. It's 149.99 they have 3 colors, ice, black ice, and black. I just bought one for my aunt. She's not into these type of things, but when she saw how this thing worked, she loved it! I'll come back to report.

Birthdays

Childrens Birthdays are overrated. I believe it's something to celebrate amongst main intermediate family. I believe it's selfish to throw huge lavish birthdays for children. It's full of competitiveness and far too expensive. They're only thrown just so their kids can get a lot of gifts. Some people say; " but it brings all the family together, that we don't see too often." Okay, so these people you don't see, are feeling obligated to go, and bring a gift. That's what family reunions or get togethers are for. If you want to see people you haven't seen in years, YOU take the time to go and see them. I've thrown a couple of big birthdays, but I learned, that with the 300-500 spent on a birthday party that's not guaranteed to be a big hit, and is a waste of money. I could've put that money for a vacation that my child would enjoy more or buy a better gift, put it in savings. The only time I hear from "friends" is when they need gifts for their kids birthdays. I will no longer throw big birthdays for my kids. I haven't in a long while. I didn't even throw my 1 year old a birthday, because we were in Disney world, which is WAY better then any birthday. I'd rather put the money to throw an awesome children's halloween party for my kids so they can invite their friends and cousins. The parents don't have to feel obligated to bring a gift. It's all about having fun! That's my thoughts on birthdays!
